I hope you are doing great.
As for us, we are slowly getting better from the jetlag. As you know the whole team just got back from a 10 days trip to Japan!
It was the occasion to get even better aquainted with the culture that we all love and work in a very inspiring environment.
I wanted to share this trip with you, so here are a few pictures. （＾∀＾）ノ
It's D-Day ! Everybody is waiting eagerly for the flight announcement.
We've taken off ! We're super hyped （⌒▽⌒）!
Arrived safely (≧∇≦)/
Let's recharge our batteries and start to work .
The projects have been discussed and 2018 sounds very busy.
First business visit in the office of SHUEISHA, the publisher of Shonen Jump.
At this occasion, we learnt that mangaka worked essentially from home and that the office became more lively after 6pm. Seems you need to be a night owl to work in Japanese publishing（ ﾟ Дﾟ）!We were also able to go to the 50th anniversary exhibition of Weekly Shonen Jump. The original pages of several manga like Saint Seiya, Dragon Ball Z or Hokuto no Ken were shown for the occasion.
There were even special menus inspired by our favorite anime series.
We then visited the office of Bandai in Asakusa.
Sabrina even met someone ♡(*´∀｀*)...I feel Cyril's better watch out...（⌒▽⌒）
The Bandai building is surrounded by life size statues placed on the sidewalk :) I would have loved to take one home（＾∀＾）
We also went to Akihabara where you can find one of the main Tamashii Nation store on the 6th floor of the Yodobashi Camera building. Don't hesitate to go there if you're in the neighborhood. There is also another exhibition gallery in the outer passage between the Electric town exit and the Central exit of the Akihabara station.
Visits kept going on with a tour of the office of Toei Animation.
A very classy work environment that impressed the team.
And we finished by a tour at the office of Kodansha, the number one publisher in Japan, that releases manga titles like Fairy Tail or Seven Deadly Sins.
Next, we were off to the Tokyo Tower for the One Piece exhibition! (*^▽^*)
And that's it for the visits. We also took the opportunity to meet some friends.
Mr Inoue made us a really nice present for the occasion ♡(*´∀｀*)
We also had a showcase display of our latest statues at the World Beer Museum in Oshiage (no, no, you're not dearming, it really was a beer museum ;) Cool, isn't it? ).
A lot of familiar faces were there for the occasion. Will you recognize them? ;)
We also did a little sightseeing in Tokyo.
And that's it !
Once again, a big thank you for following us in this great adventure that is TSUME.
We are more motivated than ever and we brought back quite a lot of surprises in our suitcases.
In the meantime, we are preparing the next Tora no TSUME that should take place in a week or two.
Productions did not delay either and everything is going as planned. We will start shipping Robin and Minato shortly.
See you soon!
